Truth
(Being Conformed To God)

Our world is divided in culture, religion, politics, ‘sexual preference', etc. Therefore, the unbeliever and carnal believe do not expect any ONE truth, or ONE right way, for all.

The Lord doesn’t save a soul so that He is added to their lives. He saves us so that we will be His 100%, that He will BE our lives. V1 below is a call for each believer to present themselves a living sacrifice to God. V2 warns the believer about following the ways of the world. We are also warned that our minds need to be transformed! Our approach to God, life, sin and other people needs to be as God does.

Rom 12:1-2
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

‘Truth’ could simply be defined as what God sees, or His perspective. The Bible is God’s ‘detailed’ revelation of Himself, and His ways – how He sees things. Through the Bible the Lord is saying:

I am the One Who Created and made everything

This is what I’m like

This is how the world began

This is who you are

This is how we (Almighty God and ourselves) MUST live together
