Restoration - After Second Week
I went to the Church late Saturday 13th August not expecting much as Clay was back at work. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount that was done! Clay's father-in-law, Albert van Niewenhuizen, had been there and work continued during Clay's absence.
On the one side of the auditorium, all the windows were bricked in. The bricks have been removed.
Something I hadn't noticed before, a had tree had been left to make use of the burgler bars to make it's way in life.
A trench has been dug in the back yard to take care of leaking water pipes.
What an improvement to the kitchen! Tiling and cupboards 'framework'!
Much work was done in sorting out the rubble in the auditorium. Sorting bricks that can be reused from rubble that needs to be removed.
Still lots to done ...
Last, my flat has a new tiled floor! :-)
