Section 2 The Godhead
a. The Church believes in one God, eternally existing in three Persons, - Father, Son and Holy Ghost; that these three are identical in essence, equal in power and glory, having the same attributes and perfections, and being worthy of the same reverence, confidence and submission.
Deuteronomy 6:4 "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:"
2 Corinthians 13:14 "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. The second epistle to the Corinthians was written from Philippi, a city of Macedonia, by Titus and Lucas."
Luke 3:22 "And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased."
Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
